Chandigarh rain updates: Train services on Sanehwal-Ambala rail route were affected and several trains were diverted on account of inclement weather.

The Haryana government has sent a proposal containing the names of nine IPS officers to the UPSC to select the next DGP, but the proposal does not align with the Supreme Court's directives. A 59-year old Amarnath pilgrim died of cardiac arrest at a hospital in Ramban. He had been staying in Ramban for four days due to damage to the highway.
